Introduction
Sternberg Consulting expects all suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners ("Suppliers") to share our commitment to responsible, ethical, and sustainable business practices. This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards we require.
Legal Compliance
Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including those relating to labour, health and safety, environmental protection, data privacy, and anti-corruption.
Labour and Human Rights
We expect all Suppliers to:
- Prohibit forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking in all forms
- Respect workers' rights to fair pay, reasonable working hours, and safe conditions
- Prohibit harassment, discrimination, and abuse
- Respect freedom of association and collective bargaining rights where applicable
Health and Safety
Suppliers must provide safe working conditions, identify and manage risks, and comply with applicable health and safety legislation. Where relevant, alignment with ISO 45001 is encouraged.
Environmental Responsibility
Suppliers should manage their environmental impact responsibly, seek to reduce emissions and waste, and comply with environmental laws. Where relevant, alignment with ISO 14001 is encouraged.
Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Suppliers must have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in all forms. Suppliers must not offer, give, or receive improper payments or benefits to obtain business or influence decisions.
Data Protection
Suppliers handling personal data on behalf of Sternberg Consulting must comply with GDPR and applicable data protection laws, and maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data.
Sub-Suppliers
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that their own sub-suppliers and subcontractors adhere to standards equivalent to those set out in this Code.
Reporting Concerns
Suppliers who become aware of any breach or potential breach of this Code are encouraged to report this through our Whistleblower Policy.
Review
This Code is reviewed annually. Last reviewed: March 2026.
