This Whistleblower Policy provides a safe, confidential mechanism for staff, subcontractors, clients, and third parties to raise concerns about potential misconduct, legal violations, or ethical issues \u2014 including modern slavery and human trafficking risks \u2014 without fear of retaliation.<\/p>\n<h2>What Can Be Reported<\/h2>\n<p>You may use this procedure to report concerns about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking<\/li>\n<li>Bribery, corruption, or fraud<\/li>\n<li>Violation of laws, regulations, or company policies<\/li>\n<li>Health and safety violations<\/li>\n<li>Environmental misconduct<\/li>\n<li>Harassment, discrimination, or serious workplace misconduct<\/li>\n<li>Any other serious ethical concern<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Report<\/h2>\n<p>Concerns can be raised through the following channel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Email (confidential):<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:info@sternberg-consulting.com\">info@sternberg-consulting.com<\/a> \u2014 addressed to the Managing Director<\/li>\n<li><strong>In writing:<\/strong> Sternberg Consulting, Germany<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reports may be submitted anonymously. Where contact details are provided, we will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days.<\/p>\n<h2>Protections for Reporters<\/h2>\n<p>Sternberg Consulting strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dismissal or disciplinary action<\/li>\n<li>Demotion or disadvantage<\/li>\n<li>Harassment or victimisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you believe you have been subjected to retaliation, please contact us immediately.<\/p>\n<h2>Investigation Process<\/h2>\n<p>All reports will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Treated as confidential<\/li>\n<li>Assessed and investigated by a designated responsible person<\/li>\n<li>Responded to within a reasonable timeframe<\/li>\n<li>Escalated to external authorities if required by law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will not disclose the identity of the reporter without consent, except where required by law.<\/p>\n<h2>External Reporting<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to our internal channels, individuals may also report concerns to relevant external bodies, including the relevant national authorities in Germany or other applicable jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<h2>Review<\/h2>\n<p>This policy is reviewed annually by the management of Sternberg Consulting.
