We take our responsibilities under occupational health and safety legislation seriously and apply the same ISO 45001 principles we advise our clients on to our own operations.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, subcontractors, and visitors at any location where Sternberg Consulting operates.
Our Health and Safety Commitments
We commit to:
- Complying with all applicable health and safety legislation and regulations
- Identifying and assessing workplace risks, and implementing appropriate controls
- Providing safe equipment, facilities, and a healthy working environment
- Ensuring that all staff and contractors have the information, instruction, and training needed to work safely
- Promoting a culture of health and safety awareness and encouraging reporting of hazards and near-misses
- Investigating all incidents and taking corrective action to prevent recurrence
- Continuously improving our health and safety management system in line with ISO 45001 principles
Responsibilities
Management is responsible for implementing this policy. All staff and contractors are expected to follow safe working practices, report hazards, and cooperate with health and safety procedures.
Reporting Concerns
Health and safety concerns should be raised immediately with management. Serious concerns can also be reported through our Whistleblower Policy.
Review
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary. Last reviewed: March 2026.
