Sternberg Consulting ("Sternberg Consulting") is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Sternberg Consulting is a management systems consultancy specialising in ISO certification support (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 13485, ISO 42001) for businesses across the DACH region. We operate with a small, qualified team of consultants and engage specialist subcontractors where required.
Our supply chain is limited primarily to professional services, software providers, and administrative suppliers. We do not operate in sectors considered high-risk for modern slavery (e.g. manufacturing, agriculture, garment production).
Policies and Due Diligence
We assess and manage risk in our supply chain through:
- Vetting suppliers and subcontractors before engagement
- Requiring subcontractors to confirm compliance with applicable employment laws
- Reviewing our supply chain regularly for any indicators of modern slavery
- Maintaining fair pay and working conditions for all staff and contractors
Risk Assessment
Given the professional nature of our services and the size of our organisation, we consider the risk of modern slavery in our direct operations to be low. We remain vigilant to risks within our indirect supply chain and will continue to review and strengthen our approach as the business grows.
Training and Awareness
All staff and key subcontractors are made aware of this policy. We provide information on identifying and reporting modern slavery risks as part of our onboarding and compliance processes.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who has concerns about modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain is encouraged to report these through our Whistleblower Policy. Reports can be made confidentially and will be investigated promptly.

This policy is approved by the management of Sternberg Consulting and reviewed annually. Last reviewed: March 2026.
